Kathmandu. Deepmala Kharel Dhakal has won the title of Miss Nepal Hong Kong-2026. She was crowned at the 'Grand Coronation' held at the Eton Hotel in Hong Kong last Thursday. She was crowned by Ashmakumari KC, the winner of 'Miss Nepal World 2024'.

Deepmala will now be able to compete in the ‘Miss Nepal’ competition to be held in 2026. This time, Deepmala has been directly appointed as Miss Hong Kong. According to the organizers, the decision was made by Hong Kong residents with the dignity, credibility, and fairness of the competition in mind.

After receiving the title, she said, “I will try to introduce Hong Kong to the world. I feel more responsible along with happiness.”

Deepmala works as an investment strategist at BlackRock, one of the world’s largest investment firms. She was born and raised in Hong Kong, where she completed her studies.

Apart from being a professional, Deepmala is also a multi-faceted personality. She is a runner who participated in the Hong Kong Marathon, a taekwondo player, and a skilled program presenter, TED speaker, runway modeling, and Hong Kong Toastmaster.

The Hidden Treasure’s Chairman Ajay Ratna Sthapit addressed the event via video conference. ‘Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2026’ was nominated by Hidden Treasure.
