Kathmandu. Indian actress Deepika Padukone has lost the opportunity to star in the fourth season of the popular Hollywood television series ‘The White Lotus’. According to media reports, the role slipped out of her hands after she refused to audition.

Although the series production team offered Deepika the role, auditions were made mandatory for all actors. However, it is said that the selection process could not proceed as she did not want to participate in the audition process.

She was previously offered the role for the third season of the series. At that time, she was reportedly unable to accept the role due to her pregnancy. Although she was offered the role again with the preparations for the fourth season, it is said that the collaboration was not possible due to audition-related conditions.

The White Lotus, known as a popular American comedy-drama series, has been popular all over the world. It was expected that Deepika’s participation in this series would mark a big comeback in her Hollywood journey.

Currently, Deepika is gearing up to appear in the upcoming film King opposite actor Shah Rukh Khan and is also busy with a new project with South Indian actor Allu Arjun.
