Kathmandu. The Celebrity Nepal Foundation has presented awards and honors in various fields at the fourth edition of ‘Virat Film and Music Awards-2082’ organized in Kathmandu on Falgun 13.

At the event hosted by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Anil Sinha, renowned actor and model Madhav KC, who is active in the arts in Mofasal, was honored with the Best Model Award for his video of the song ‘Ajambari Maya’, written by Dr. Anish Shrestha and sung by Shiv Pariyar.

Earlier, actor KC had also won the Best Model award at the second Virat Music and Film Awards-2080 for the music video of the song ‘Kin Dukhcha Mutu’ written by Hari Acharya.

KC, who has modeled in about four dozen music videos, has showcased her acting skills in films like Dhoom 3, Don’t Break My Heart, Zindagi, Chinari, Man Manai Man Paraye, etc. KC said that receiving the award has made her feel more responsible. He said, “I would like to thank the jury team and the organizers for evaluating my work and presenting the award.”

According to program coordinator Suraj Poudel, this year, awards and honors were presented in a total of 26 categories, including 15 categories for music and 11 categories for film.

At a program organized at the Film Development Board auditorium, Subhash Gajurel, a senior artist and director who has been active in the Nepali film industry for the past four decades, was presented with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ along with a cash prize of Rs 25,555.
