Babita Manandhar’s ‘Kaliyugki Radha’ Released

KATHMANDU- The folk-modern style song ‘Kaliyugki Radha’ has been made public. Senior singers Kunti Moktan, Sukmit Gurung, Monila Sotang, and Devika Bandana jointly released the song at an event organized in the capital on Thursday.

The song released has vocals by Babita Manandhar, lyrics by DP Khanal, music by Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’ and mixing by Kumar KC. Similarly, the video of the song directed by Rajiv Samar features dance by Ashma Bishwakarma and Abhishek Shrestha.

The video is shot by Dinesh Parajuli and edited by Dinson Shah. The song, produced by Suresh Manandhar, is based on a dancing beat. The song captures the reality of love, women’s feelings, and relationships in modern society.

The melodious voice of singer Manandhar, who has been continuously active in music for two and a half decades, has made the song emotional. Singer Manandhar praised musician Thapa and said that she had to work hard to give voice to his music.

Saying that she tried her best to sing, she believed that the song was also excellent due to the excellent combination of words and music. She also said that she liked the lyrics of lyricist Khanal because they were emotional.
