Kathmandu. Bollywood’s famous singer Asha Bhosle has passed away at the age of 92.
She was active in the music industry for a long time and left this world on Sunday. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday after falling ill, where she died during treatment, Indian news agency PTI reported.
It is reported that his funeral will be held on Monday. His body will be kept at his residence at 11 am for last rites, and the cremation will be held at Shivaji Park at 4 pm.
Born on 8 September 1933, Bhosle grew up in a musical family. Her father, Dinanath Mangeshkar, was a classical singer and artist. She was involved in music from a young age and sang her first song in the Marathi film Majha Baal. She later entered Hindi films and lent her voice to thousands of songs over a long period of time. Active for more than five decades, she established herself as one of the leading singers in the Indian music industry.
