Kathmandu. The Nepal Cancer Prevention Foundation has appointed ‘Miss Nepal Hong Kong International-2026’ Deepmala Kharel as its Goodwill Ambassador during a ceremony in Kathmandu.

After participating in the Nepal Cancer Foundation’s grand campaign, which aims to make cancer treatment facilities accessible to everyone and to find ways to prevent the disease through modern preventive measures, Deepmala said, “I am very happy to join hands in the Nepal Cancer Foundation’s grand campaign.” She also expressed her commitment to spread cancer awareness among the public.
The event, held under the chief guestship of Nhuj: Guthi President Sur Bahadur Shrestha, was attended by ‘Miss Mongol Nepal-2024’ Angel Rai, the foundation’s program chief Yubika Shrestha, Abisha Rasaili, Ramkrishna Gartaula, Rashmi Kharel, Anjanadevi Bajracharya, Shraddha Chhetri, editor of Akhbar Today, MP Subba and Hip Hop Samrat, and senior vice president of the foundation, Nirish Shrestha.
The program was inaugurated by Vice President Dilsagar Katuwal, chaired by the Foundation’s President and senior media personality Hari Gopal Pradhan. At the end of the program, Foundation President Hari Gopal Pradhan thanked the guests present and explained the Foundation’s activities and objectives.
