KATHMANU- The first-ever Kathmandu Business Expo-2026 was a memorable one. The reason is that the expo was not limited to business promotion, but also included entertainment. As a result, the first Kathmandu Business Expo became a celebration of art and culture along with business.

Renowned artists from Nepal performed at the expo, which is the main event of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kathmandu. The expo is coming to an end today, Saturday.

The performance of the popular music group of the young generation, 'Binay Karki and Thunga', at the 'Kathmandu Business Expo-2026', which ran from Magh 14 to 17, succeeded in winning the hearts of the expo visitors. Well, Binay Karki has been winning the hearts of the audience with every one of his songs.

Binay Karki, known by the nickname 'Binay Ketu' in the Nepali music scene, rose to even greater heights when he formed the group 'Binay Karki & Thunga'. The first song of this musical group was ‘Nay Nay’, which was very much liked by the audience and listeners. The performance of this group, which has created a unique identity in the music field, also made the ‘Kathmandu Business Expo’ worth remembering.

In addition, artists including Bhim Limbu, a famous singer of traditional and modern songs, performed at the expo.Apart from Bhim Limbu, the singer of famous songs like 'Dhanai Nachincha', various male and female singers warmed up the atmosphere by singing at the Bizvesh Expo. The festival mainly promoted art and culture along with trade.That's why this Business Expo was memorable.

The organizing body, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Kathmandu, has stated that efforts have been made to boost the morale of the private sector through the festival.

The federation also stated that it achieved success in its first attempt. Many business associations collaborated to make the festival a success.

The expo, which was also in collaboration with the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, was co-coordinated by IIFT Managing Director Phupu Tenzing Sherpa. According to him, from Anand Karki to Deepak Limbu, the festival had featured singing performances. Due to this, the Business Expo has become a celebration of art and culture along with trade, analyzed the festival's co-coordinator Sherpa.

He said, "Kathmandu Business Expo-2026, which was also in collaboration with IIFT, went better than expected. We were successful."
